Recreation in cabins along the middle Lužnice river ? territorial structure, development problems and their solutions

This bachelor´s work deals with territorial development problems of recreation in the basin of central Lužnice river. At the beginning the bachelor´s work examines the literature that deals with second housing and mainly recreation in cabins emphasizing the literature dealing with territorial development problems. This bachelor´s work also focuses on the geographical characteristics of the area in relation to the recreation in cabins. Part of the work is the field mapping of recreation in the specific area and thein differentiation. During the field mapping it was also made questioning of cottagers about the problems concerning their cabins settlement. On the basis of the field mapping, questioning and structured interview with representatives of municipality and the building authoritis in the given territory were identified the problems of particular cabin settlements and the principles were suggested to solve some of above mentioned problems.

This bachelor thesis focuses on development issues recreation in cabins around Hněvkovice, Kořensko and upper Orlík dams. First, there is a section devoted to literature about second homes and recreation in the cabins. The thesis also includes the field mapping of second homes settlements in the investigated area and its typing. During the field mapping was also carried out interviews with second home owners about the problems of the second homes settlements. Based on the field mapping, inervievs with second home owners, representatives of mnicipalities and state authorities in investigated area were indentified problems of recreation in cabins and principles were designed to address the problems.

Recreation in cabins along lower the Lužnice river - territorial structure, development problems and their solutions

This bachelor´s thesis solves the recreation in the cabins in the cabin´s landscape area along lower the Lužnice river. For the first time is geographical characterizes of the area of studied. Then are map the elements of the recreation in cabins ? the cabins, the cabin´s settlements and the cabin´s districts in the cabin´s landscape area. The main aim of this bachelor´s thesis is the analyse of the developing problems connected with the users of cabins. Just because the interviews were realized with the actors of users of cabins, with the workers of the building authority and with the workers of the municipal autority. The actors were asked about the problems of the protecting natural environment and the landscape, the natural danger, the problems of architectural and the urban design of cabin´s settlements, for the infrastructure equipment of cabin´s settlements, or coexistence of the users of cabins with each other and with the residents of surrounding settlements.
